Flavourful Creamy Parmesan Chicken Pasta & Giveaway

I've grown up with Club House spices and seasonings and now Club House has done some growing up of it's own.  Not only are they able to help you out with quick and easy side dishes and gravies, they are now helping you make a speedy family-sized entrée with their Flavourful Recipe Mixes.

There are six offerings in Club House's Flavourful Recipe line-up, Lemon Ginger Beef Stir-fry, Herbes de Provence Roasted Chicken, Hickory Barbecue Ribs, Lemon Thyme Pork, Tuscan Chicken and this yummy Creamy Parmesan Chicken Penne (I used Gemelli pasta, because that's what was in the cupboard).

I followed the directions right off the packet, making only a few modifications (I had cream instead of blend, olive oil in lieu of butter, started with frozen chicken breasts, and used Gemelli instead of Penne).  Club House also gives a variety of other recipe options for each mix on their website, clubhouse.ca, including a recipe for Parmesan Bruschetta that I cannot wait to try.

Where I started with frozen chicken breasts (I only used two because they were huge!), I heated up the olive oil in a large skillet, added the chicken, covered it, and let it cook for ten minutes.

While the chicken was cooking, I brought the pasta water to a boil.

After ten minutes, I took the chicken out and cubed it.  I then put it back into the skillet to finish cooking.

Once there was no more pink showing in the chicken I sprinkled on the seasoning mix... it smelled incredible!  I added the tomatoes and cream and allowed it to simmer as directed.

When the sauce was ready, the pasta was cooked, and all I had to do was toss the pasta in the sauce.  I literally had dinner on the table in 20 minutes.

I served it up family-style and, it was great.. hubby was certainly surprised when I told him it was from a packet and I hadn't added any other spices.  We all loved the herb & spice blend, it was well balanced and not subtle. It was so tasty, I decided to try the Flavourful Herbes de Provence Roasted Chicken mix the following evening and it was yet another winner...  Now I'm motivated to make more quick and simple dinners and get back into my daily routine.
